The afternoon brings exciting hockey action with our community tournament from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Skiing enthusiasts can enjoy the freshly groomed trails from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with ski equipment rentals available starting at 8:00 AM. Professional instructors offer beginner ski lessons at 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, while intermediate sessions run at 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM.
The sledding hill opens at 9:30 AM and remains active until dusk. Our dedicated sledding area features three distinct runs: the gentle Family Hill, the moderate Adventure Run, and the thrilling Summit Slope. Complimentary sleds are available on a first-come, first-served basis, but feel free to bring your own!

As darkness falls, the magic of Winterfest truly comes alive with our enchanting Torchlight Parade. Starting at 6:30 PM, participants gather at the Main Lodge, where hundreds of glowing torches create a mesmerizing ribbon of light winding down the mountainside. Anyone aged 12 and up with intermediate skiing or snowboarding abilities can join this beloved tradition – simply arrive 30 minutes early to receive your torch and safety briefing.
Spectators can enjoy this spectacular display from the base lodge deck or anywhere along the designated viewing areas. Hot chocolate and warm cider are available for purchase, making it the perfect way to stay cozy while watching the illuminated descent. The parade concludes with a brief fireworks display, creating an unforgettable winter evening for everyone.
Don’t forget to register at the Guest Services desk by 5:00 PM if you’d like to participate in the parade. Space is limited to 200 torchbearers, so early sign-up is recommended.

The best viewing spots are along Lake Shore Drive and the main festival grounds, where you’ll have an unobstructed view of the colorful bursts reflecting off the snow-covered landscape and frozen lake surface.
Bundle up and arrive at least 15 minutes early to secure your ideal viewing location. The display runs for approximately 20 minutes and features a choreographed show with both traditional and special effect fireworks. For families with young children or those seeking a more intimate viewing experience, the area behind the Community Center offers a slightly elevated vantage point away from the crowds.
