 The .7 mile long trail through Chesterfield Gorge Natural Area provides dramatic views of the Cascading waters of Wilde Brook. The visitor center was created and staffed by volunteers. It contains publications & exhibits highlighting the natural and cultural history of the region. A collection of early New Hampshire logging tools is also on display.

The old upper bridge over Wilde Brook
has been replaced by a steel reinforced span.

Explore the Gorge

The Gorge is located on Route 9 approx. one half mile east of the east entrance to Route 9A and Spofford Village.
